The young boy stands at the foot of the stairs and stares blankly at the open space before him. Never had he known the pain of disappointment before and as he struggled against his mother’s words, he knew that she was right.

Awakening Art Show: The Meeting Of Three Friends
As the year continues, I have fou
nd myself once again engaged in a discussion about the importance of being true to who you are and what you believe in. As I head towards a year of being single and “alone,” I find myself being continuously reminded of how blessed I am.
Recently, I received news that one of the artists featured in my upcoming show titled “Awakening,” will be in attendance. Now, it’s important that people realize that this isn’t just ANYONE, but rather one of the truest and most sincere friends I have made within the last year. For those of you who don’t know, I am not just a blogger but also an aspiring artist, who functions as the Digital Illustrator for Being Latino, Inc. which is an online magazine and social network that focuses on creating dialogue and fostering unity within the Latino Community.
